Vehicle Detail
Please save all the dumb questions and read this description first, I get a lot of emails asking the same things. And ask your wife if she's OK with you buying this BEFORE bidding, then ask your self if a 183hp bike is for you. It's powerful, classy and fast. I am not shipping her anywhere but I'd gladly assist you with it. A very rare model of the K12R, very unique: sport rims, aftermarket blacked out windscreen, center stand, The bike has nothing else but what the Germans put in her, no chips, no loud exhausts, no crappy stuff. Second owner of this beauty. Got it in 2010. I changed the oil religiously myself with BMW genuine filters and oil. The transmission fluid is still the original that came from the factory with. The bike has no performance problems at all. Starts right up, picks up and go, fast. Its a head turner. New rear tire, front has a lot of to go. The bike has a dent in the chassis that rendered her salvaged, some lady bumped on it while parked and it felt on its side. Please look at the pics, they are very clear and indicate the extend of what's wrong with her: merely aesthetic stuff. Engine behaves well, tranny shifts normal, no error codes or noises or vibrations or leaks. Battery cover is missing. The tank cover (yellow plastic) has a hairline crack on the left side, barely noticeable. the brake lever is broken at the end tip. Engine case screws have been scratched. Reflective thingy. Right handle tip is scratched. It passed NC inspection. Low-ballers please keep your money, you wont find a bike so unique for this price. You know is worth this money. the local BMW dealer that did the damage estimate said that all these issues (batt cover, engine screws, mirror, brake handle, etc) would cost around $700. Since the bike has no issues I never cared to fix them. Adult ridden by an enthusiastic veteran BMW bike owner. I have 2 others, all get the same love. I have the manual, a tank bag and the original windscreen. Comes with it. Always stored in the garage, never abused. On Feb-26-14 at 20:47:46 PST, seller added the following information: Attention ebayers: the Bike is a 2006. Ebay won't let me change it and now I realized the typo. Sorry for the inconvenience
