Manufactured in 1989 this Euro BMW just turned 25 and can be registered as is. It's one of those rare wagons in still a pretty good condition and well running. With very little TLC it will be a real beauty again. So I shipped it over, went through the tedious customs procedure that always has some surprises like trucking around in the port and more left for you to pay. It is now with a close friend in Los Angeles. Exempt of DOT and EPA, you can register at your local DMV as is with the Euro title and customs papers. Only if you live in CA, watch out for smog: I wouldn't know how to pass it. In all other states registration is straight forward, we did it several times recently and in earlier years, as you can see in my feedback. The mileage is still low for the 325 with 248.000 km = 154,000 miles. Engine starts right up and purrs nicely. All driving is fine. 25% diff lock. There are some dents on the hood, the body is straight. Interior is nice. Driver seat was replaced with no leather, all other leather in good condition. Little rust as shown, notoriuos areas like mandrels are clean. Rear door very good as well. Air condition! Due to mild climate, AC is extremely rare in a european classic. By the way, I will NOT have one alike sooner or later, it is not my business. And frankly, it hardly pays, since Euro prices are jumping up every month and E30ies worth all the hassle are rare.
