2004 Volkswagen Beetle Bug Convertible This 1974 VW Bug convertible was recently traded-in at our dealership by a customer on a new car. The customer was driving this car on a daily basis. The true mileage is unknown. This is a project car that requires an individual with knowledge concerning restoration of VW's. We are not experts and can only say that it needs a lot of TLC. The interior is in poor condition. The top is full of duct tape. The car starts, runs and drives. There is some rust visible by the gas door. We realize that you need to have all the information you need to make an intelligent bid but we just aren't experts on the technical side of vintage VW's. It would be best if you could come and take a look prior to bidding. Please be advised that our dealership has a $200 dealer processing fees on all sales. Maryland law requires that every sale must include this fee (licensed dealer's excluded). Please make sure that you're completely aware that this fee will be in addition to your winning bid. Representations and Warranties made by Seller: This vehicle is being sold "as is". No representations or warranties are made by seller, nor are any representations or warranties relied upon by bidders in making bids. Taxes and Registration fees: Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered. Our only dealership fee is $15.00 for a temporary MD tag if required. If a lien has to be filed on the title, there will be a fee for that, determined by the financial institution you are using. Maryland residents will be responsible for standard MVA fees (Title, Transfer, CVR, Tag Fees predicated on class of vehicle, Lien Recording and State Sales Tax (6%). Title Information: Vehicles titles, regardless of payment method (excepting cash), will be held until our bank confirms clearance of funds. We will FedEx your title and associated paperwork at that time. Shipping & Delivery: All shipping charges are buyer's responsibility. Barrett Chevrolet, Inc. will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage! Vehicles can be picked up during normal business hours Monday through Saturday. Sorry, we are closed on Sunday
