I've owned this 1964 Avanti R1 for 10 years and it is one of my favorite summer driver cars. The combination of the factory 289ci engine and light weight fiberglass body make this a fun snappy car to drive. A real head-turner with the round headlights and unique styling. I actually get more compliments driving an Avanti than I do when driving a Corvette. No extra options to worry about maintaining. All manual pretty much says it all. The interior has been re-done with factory correct colors and the exterior is an Avanti red as well. The tires are in great shape and you could take this on a road-trip tomorrow. Although I would wait for the ice and salt to clear off the roads. The paint has a few chips and cracks, so it would need paint to be a show car. Again I've been driving it in the summer and the paint flaws don't slow down the compliments. I have a 100% rating so it is important you are completely satisfied with your purchase.
