This Honda z50 was a frame off restoration. It went from a Honda z50 Monkey Bike to a Honda Gorilla 88cc. There is a big bore 88cc kit (from Trailbikes.com) that was installed and runs great! Almost every nut and bolt where brused with on a wire wheel and just about everything has been painted; frame, side cover, tank, front forks, rear suspension, and the engine. This bike runs great! The only item that I would like to declare is that because of the 88cc kit the compression is much higher and the kick starter can slip if it's kicked too hard. A very very very light kick turns this engine over and usually starts within the first two or three kicks. I looked up this kick starter issue on planet minis forum and it's been stated that this is an issue when installing big bore kits and usually heavy duty clutch springs don't resolve the issue. Since I was aware of it, it really hasn't been an issue because I know to kick very lightly. Since being restored I have put approximately 5 miles on the bike. The paint scheme is: Allis Chalmers Orange (Tank, Side Cover, Suspension), Gloss Black (Frame), Flat Aluminum (Engine), Gloss Aluminum (Wheels), Flat Black (exhaust) There is NO Title, but I will provide a Bill of Sale........Please ask any questions before bidding.
