AMAZING PROJECT OPPORTUNITY!!! Its winter, and you wanna be outside wheeling, exploring the mountains, the desert, or the beach. The days are short and cold, and its easy to get depressed... And SO this is the BEST time to start a 4x4 project to be ready for sunshine and warmer temperatures that the Spring and Summer bring! Started this '81 Jeep Scrambler project about a year ago, bought it from another local offroader with the intention of making it a trail rig capable of daily driving. Needed a new engine and additional work, but sadly can no long justify keeping it and need shop space back. I will try to fully disclose everything that has been done to the Jeep, but feel free to ask any specific questions as I may have forgotten something. My story is only part of the truck's history, and if you frequent PirateOffroad or 4Wheeler Magazine, you may recognize the Jeep from the Ultimate Adventure a few years back. It was painted a desert tan color back then with YJ half doors. NOTE: the engine shown in that article is no longer with this Jeep, it now has a 1988 350 SBC pulled from a running Suburban, but NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING. Everything is there to get it going, but not fully installed. All fluids should be checked before first start. You will need a trailer to haul this truck home to your shop. Serious buyers only, please. Here's a list of what has been done, in no particular order: Frame bobbed and trussed, body chopped to ~ LJ proportionsSBC 350, Jasper Engine rebuild with 65000 miles, pulled from '88 Suburban, mild tow cam installed by Jasper*brand new Professional Products Powerjection III system, with matching aluminum intake. Its always hard to sell "your" project to somebody else. People often get into a project to make it "theirs". I'm open to offers, but sorry NO TRADES. I can take off some items if your are not interested in the whole lot, but the engine block must go with the vehicle when purchased. Serious offers only please- for those who know, you know the worth of this build. Thank you for your interest, feel free to ask any questions and I will try to answer them ASAP Note* The Jeep is located in Reisterstown, MD, which is about 30 minutes north of Baltimore, MD.
