My uncle bought this van as the second owner in 1968 and used it as a daily driver for as long as I can remember. The van sat for probably the last five years of his life and upon his death in October of 2009 I inherited it and began a mechanically minded restoration. I do not use the van liked I thought I would and would like to give someone else a chance to enjoy it. Here is what I have done so far: RE-MANUFACTURED 225 L6 with warranty and 1500 miles, (manual trans with new gears, main shaft and seals), steering box, drive line, carb., speedometer (mileage set back to 00000 when I inherited the van in 2009) ((actual mileage unknown)), RE-UPHOLSTERED seats, NEW clutch, high capacity radiator, hoses, water pump, thermostat, heater core, belts, starter, (alternator and regulator upgraded to newer style), motor mounts, throttle cable, intake/exhaust manifold, muffler, rear axle bearings and seals, brakes and wheel cylinders at all four corners, floor mat, front window and wind wing rubber, all door seals, air vent seals, high beam switch, ignition switch, LED interior and tail lights, HID headlights. All the glass is good (just dirty) and I am sure there is more I just am not thinking of. right now. I think I am invested for around 10,000 and have all the receipts to pass along with the van. The van will need new tires due to weather checking (from sitting and not being used), front end components like tie rod ends, etc and the in dash touch screen DVD needs a new screen (on EBAY for about $80.00) and is also an IPOD controller (stereo still works with the remote). The body is pretty straight and the paint is fair with minor surface rust here and there (see paint in photos) but needs a small leak in the roof repaired above the dog house (see photo) while the rest of the roof is in great condition. I have the piece of dash that was cut out where the DVD was installed but I do not have the other two pieces that are missing (see pictures), one was a clock and the other was a stereo. One other thing... after driving the van (runs great) and letting it sit for a while it floods (but will restart with a little extra cranking). It did this before and after the re-manufactured carb. and I am not sure why. In my endeavors i stripped out another 1966 Dodge A100 Van for a lot of hard to find parts and I also have Other parts I never got installed on the van which i would sell in a lot for a fair price. I live in Bishop, California and The buyer will be fully responsible for arranging and paying for all shipping and handling.
