1973 VW Thing,last registered in Massachusetts 2009,has clean Mass title. Motor starts right up and appears to be the original, Good clucth,shifts easily, Stops and emergency brake holds,but needs rear brake line replacement. Good tires recently replaced,no hubcaps,has original gas heater but is untested,very clean under the hood. May need some wiring and bulbs,but all lights are there. Have top bows and side curtians in rough shape,original jack & manual are ptrsent. Some rust to the floor pan(a few small spots you can see through). and a hole under the battery,I did a sheet metal repair to install a battery to run the car. Dents and dings to the bumpers,a few body rust spots,panels are striaght. The undercarriage has flaking rust,typical for this area. This is a solid car that needs some work to be used or would be a good base for a restoration.
