Offered for No Reserve is my 1972 Volkswagen Westfalia, while its not perfect, it’s a great start compared to others I have seen! I feel its in decent shape for being for being 40 plus years old. It has its correct 1700cc with its factory dual carbs. It recently came out of long term storage and had a light servicing, it runs and drives good however will need some adjustments to the carburetors and the brakes will need attention. It has a nice Gene Berg $500 shifter which is a nice upgrade compared to the stock shifter. With a little effort, it will be ready for your next adventure This 1972 Westfalia has recently emerged from hibernation in Northern California where it been its entire life. It was purchased from the second owners and is one incredible find in my mind, please remember this is not a restored 1972 Westfalia. The body is in decent shape, I was told it was repainted once in the 1980’s it has some cancer under the windshield, and will need the drivers wing window fixed along with a new poptop canvas. As with all vintage vehicles they all require some tinkering. Good news is the floors and frame are all solid throughout! Overall its a nice start, though it is not flawless, as it has some minor pitting, dings, scratches, surface patina etc, which is common for its age that has never been restored. Many people like it the way it is as it has lots of soul character. The interior has all its original Westfalia cabinets, sink, and bed. I have a clear California title in hand.
