This will convert to a "rebuilt" in the titling state. For example, if it is being sold in Michigan, the vehicle will have to be repaired and the major component parts have to be listed. The inspector will come out and inspect the vehicle and give you a form. You then take this paperwork along with the title and apply for a rebuilt title. It is a very easy process.
