Vehicle Detail

Selling my 1955 Chevy, 210 Sedan; that I purchased in March 2004 on Ebay. Some of information will cover the last owners’ comments, and what I have noticed or upgraded in the roughly 5,000 miles I have put on the 55. All upgrades have been done in the last 15, 000 miles. Brand new battery installed this week. Engine: “Rebuilt 1964, 283 bored .08” (301 CI). Does not overheat, runs 180o even in Arizona’s heat. Heads are Power Pac, high compression. Mallory HEI, Ram Horn Exhaust. Exhaust has H Pipe, Flowmaster 40 Series. Pipes exit in front rear tires with chrome tips. Edelbrock Air Gap, Dual quad’s, 500 CFM. When valve covers off to install, heads clean as can be, runs very strong. Transmission is a rebuilt 1972 Turbo 350 w/trans cooler. Rear is 10 Bolt from 1973 Chevy Nova with 3:73’s. New starter, 8mm Taylor wires. Has 605PS disk brakes, drum rear. Nice carpet, floor mats, alarm, auto gauge tach and under dash cluster for oil, temperature, battery. Rims are chrome deep dish, 7” front, 8” rear. Heater works great, now used often in Arizona. Really nice Alpine Am/FM/CD I had added in the glove box. Alpine detachable face with 4 Alpine speakers. I have upgraded a lot of parts, have all old chrome/trim, plus nicer trim and weather stripping, new owner can have with the car. Have manuals (Classic Chevy in binders), publications new and original. I will include folder of all work done since 2004, plus a car cover. There is much information, and while this is not a show car, it is clean and solid. Hard to find one with so many features at a low, no reserve starting price! The Bad: Clear coat flaking, being white doesn’t show as much, mostly trunk area. Original radio only hums if turned on. Some light water stain on headliner near passenger window. Maybe can just clean off? Otherwise headliner very nicely redone by previous owner. No jack. Bumpers driver quality, some scrapes on rear. In summary: It is impossible to list everything about my 55, however I have been as honest and complete as I can. Please feel free to ask questions. The car is sold “As Is” with no written or implied warranties or guaranties. I have sold a 58 and 63 Chevy on Ebay in the past, both buyers were pleased, still keep in touch with both. As you can tell from some of the pictures, it can get dusty in Arizona! I will require a $225 nonrefundable deposit, paid through PayPal, within 48 hours. Payment must be completed within 10 days, either by wire transfer or a cashier check. After receiving the complete payment, I will send the title by express mail, signature required. I will work with your shipper, though I will not pay for or schedule the shipping. If you have less than 98% feedback, or no feedback history, please contact me before you bid. I want to see my car go to someone who has the funds and wants a good deal on a 55. This is a great opportunity to get started in the old car hobby! Will not sell to bidders outside the United States Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
