1963 Suudebaker Avanti R1The car was stored for several years but runs good and yard drives but is running on a bottle and will need the tank drained. The brakes are weak from setting but will stop the car. The car has what I would call a budget paint job, looks ok from a few feet. The engine is a 350 chevy and was told it came from a 1972 Corvette. the backup lights are in the trunk and the drop down bumper brackets are also there. the chrome covers for the drop down bumper are missing. The car needs some brake work and a u joint, the dash would need recovered and needs a headliner- both are available from Studebaker International. Sale will be bill of sale no title for a 1963 in Alabama. this is not a perfect car but would make a budget driver and is priced accordingly.On Dec-08-13 at 17:11:53 PST, seller added the following information:The car has auto trans and the VIN is 63R2056 fender tag is 63RO1202On Dec-11-13 at 15:55:46 PST, seller added the following information:I have several questions about the rust and the condition of the Hog troughs. I don't have a lift to get photos of the under side of the car but it is a southern car. The frame,springs and the hog troughs have surface rust but I don't see any areas of heavy flaking or rust through. Feel free to ask questions thanks for looking
