Vehicle Detail

1995 Chevrolet Corsica, 2.2 four cylinder - $900 (South Windsor, CT) Mileage: 78,704 This car was owned by my mother, and recently taken off the road since she bought a new car. She bought the car in July of 2011 with only 59,373 miles on it. This is a good car for; a first time driver, winter vehicle, extra car, or a vehicle to get you from point A to B. It has a 2.2 four cylinder, and very economical on gas. Mechanically, the car is in good operating condition. Installed new front struts, new fuel filter, etc., and oil was just changed. The exterior had peeling paint, and was touched up with spray paint. The body has miscellaneous blemishes, dings, etc. There is no rust. The interior has a ripped driver's seat, and the carpet has wear spots, and miscellaneous stains. The car comes with a bill of sale and a clean title. Up for sale is a 1995 Chevrolet Corsica. The asking price is $900, or best offer. The car has 78,704 miles on it, and runs and shifts good. Car has a clean title. The emissions testing is good, and does not have to be done again until 6/3/2014. The Autocheck and Carfax shows an excellent score. The car can be seen anytime, and is located at 420 John Fitch Blvd, in South Windsor, CT. (Route 5, near Route 291). Engine: 2.2 liter four cylinder, and runs good. The oil and filter was just changed. Also installed a new air filter, and a new fuel filter. The spark plugs were inspected and still in good condition. The engine did have a problem where it would periodically stall when hot, so the ignition control module was replaced with one from a junkyard. Not sure if this took care of the problem, since my mother bought a new car, and would need to be tested. Transmission: It has a 3 speed automatic, and shifts good. Exhaust: The exhaust is in good condition. The muffler was replaced, and the entire system was welded from the catalytic converter to the back. Suspension and brakes: Just installed 2 new Gabriel brand front struts. The brake pads, brake shoes, brake lines, and rotors were all inspected. The front brake pads are okay, but will eventually need to be replaced. The ABS light is on in the dash; not sure why. It has always been that way since my mother owned it. Interior: the driver's seat is ripped, and has a seat cover, as shown in the picture. Other seats are in good shape. The carpet has some wear spots and stains, but is clean. The dash has some cracks in it. The car has power door locks. Exterior / body: the body had peeling paint in spots, and was touched up with spray paint. There are miscellaneous blemishes, dents, and dings. The hood has a small crease along the front edge. The front passenger side signal light lens is broken (located in bumper), but the bulb still works. The gas filler door is missing. Electrical system: The air bag light is on, and it has been that way the entire time my mother owned it. The horn does not work. As noted above, the ABS light is on. Other than that, everything else works fine. There is no check engine light on. Tires: The tires are all in decent shape, with good tread. The car is located in South Windsor, CT.
