GM of Canada docs pictured below Proving this is a REAL 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport 396!! Original color was the beautiful Forrest Green Metallic with White Stripes! Drivetrain: Engine: 396 cubic inch engine (not original engine, but decodes to a 68 396 block engine code #T0527IV) Sitting since 2001. Placed a new: starter, battery, plugs, oil, and ran it off a gas can to hear it run. It cranked right over and sounds very strong. Miles show 56,881 on odometer. Title says exempt. Intake: Alluminum Chevrolet L-78 Intake casting #3933163 Heads: Square Port Heads (told they are L-78 heads) Carburator: Holley 750 Double Pumper (could probably use a rebuild) Rear: 12 Bolt Rear Transmission: 400 Turbo Trans (originally a m21 4 speed car) Dual exhaust 15 x 8 Ralley wheels on back & 15 x7 Ralley wheels on front Body & Undercarriage: Chrome rocker moldings are not an SS option, added afterwards by previous owner.Frame, floors, roof, and hood have some surface rust, but are all pretty solid Fenders are pretty solid Trunk and quarters will need some work or replacement.Please view photos or come & see this SS to make your own evaluation on condition. Interior: Black bucket seats interior (correct buckets for 70 Chevelle, not correct pattern) Original 4 speed console 1972 SS steering wheel U14 Tachometer, Clock, and gauges All glass is in the car. Interior needs to be redone (Again, see photos below) This classic is documented leaving the factory as true 1970 Chevelle Super Sport 396 4 speed car.
