NO RESERVE!!! Here is a 59 Desoto Firedome 2 door hardtop body and rolling chassis. Bought this car many years ago as a parts car for a convertible we restored. Someone had started to turn this hardtop into a convertible. The front windshield frame is off a convertible and the section behind the rear seat has the correct brace and bracket that holds the top pump as well as the brackets which the convertible top pivots on. The rear wheel tubs appear to have been converted to a convertible, but it was crudely done. The car has always been in California and has excellent floors, rockers and the front part of the quarter panels. Minor rust bubbles starting in the dog leg in front of the rear wheel area, the rest of the rear wheel house looks good. The rear quarter area and trunk lip were cut off several years ago for rust repair on a 59 Adventurer. If you’re building a 57 thru 59 MOPAR convertible or hardtop and need virtually rust free floor pans, outer body sheet metal and convertible parts, this is the auction for you!! We’re also in the process of parting out 80 mostly finned MOPAR cars from 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961 and 1962, including Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge, Imperial and Desotos. Car is sold with a Bill of Sale. We’re located one hour east of Los Angeles and happy to work with an export company for an overseas buyer. We can store the car for a reasonable amount of time after the transaction is completed, until transport can be arranged.
