2001 Honda XR 400 This bike is in excellent mechanical shape and runs very strong. This is not a show condition machine, but it's in good shape cosmetically and again excellent mechanically. The valves were recently adjusted, jetting dialed in and air filter cleaned (about 1 hr ride time on it). Recently replaced the following: Front Brake rotor and pads, Clutch & Throttle Cable, front and rear headlight bulb. Refreshed front and rear shocks (Appx 4 hours ride time. Oil and filter just changed | 0 hours). Rear linkage and all wheel bearings are good and recently greased. I replaced the Petcock and every rubber "O" ring throughout the fuel system. The bike has only been run on Premium Non-Ethanol gas since and full synthetic oil (Just an FYI). The bike is very quick for a 400. It will run with "anything" in the woods depending on your skillset. It is very reliable and starts within 1 - 2 kicks in 45F or above weather. If you stall it out after hard riding, it'll start up in 1 kick. Pulls the front tire in 3rd gear and can power wheelie in 4th & 5th. (Again great for woods or enduro). Extras included: OEM Odometer, OEM XR 400 Red Seat, Brand New Rear 110/100x18 Soft-Terrain Tire, spare 108 and 110 chains, OEM sprockets, new Rear Tire Tube, and a few dozen sealed OEM nuts, bolts & misc parts. This bike starts up and runs flawlessly and is 100% turn key ready to ride and / or race. A bill of sale will be provided. Never titled as purchased for off road private-land use only.
