Vehicle Detail
2004 Volvo S60-R w/ 6 Speed Manual Transmission. Safety and Performance in one great package: NOT your typical Volvo Runs and drives great! Mostly highway miles over the last 4 years, averaging ~29 MPG on the highway w/ 300HP and 0 - 60 in 5.6 seconds! This car has the bulletproof 6 speed manual which is more reliable and has more power than the automatic version (around 40HP more). Some recent maintenance / upgraded Items: IPD Transmission Torque MountIPD Upper engine stabilizer poly bushing kitIPD Polyurethane upper engine stabilizer mountIPD Heavy Duty Turbo Control ValveIPD Anti-Sway barK+N Air FilterSilicone Vacuum LinesMotorola/Volvo Integrated BluetoothRight Front shock and strut tower replaced in 2011Clutch and Slave Cylinder replaced at ~67,000 milesBrake Pads and brake fluid replaced in July This car is used and does have some wear. There is a chip in the front right headlight (shown in picture) which has been there since 2011 w/ no problems. Lights work perfectly. Some of the passenger seat stitching has come apart in the side bolster facing the driver's seat (see picture) It's been that way since before I bought the car and it never bothers me. The leather is NOT torn, just the thread. The cup holder cover has come off. I still have it, but I use the cup holders a lot so I actually prefer not having the cover on. All 4 wheels have some curb rash. There are a few minor scratches/chips on the paint. There are some scrapes on the driver's side rear bumper (pictured) from before I bought the car. The front to tires look almost brand new, but the rear tires will have to be replaced soon. The "alarm service required" indication came on, meaning the siren is not working correctly. Alarm itself works, but the siren box will need to be replaced if you care. Key remotes work perfectly. The car was just taken to the local Volvo specialist and inspected. The car popped some codes, but the inspector said he thinks that the codes are just momentary stray signals caused by the bad alarm siren module. He said that the car drives well, the codes aren't causing any problems, and that if the siren is replaced, and all the codes cleared, that they probably won't come back. If you have any questions, please ask and I'll be happy to tell you everything I know. Overall this is a GREAT car and a LOT of fun!On Nov-09-13 at 19:38:10 PST, seller added the following information: Car is currently in Virginia Beach, VA, but I plan to move it to Philadelphia, PA on Sunday evening. On Nov-10-13 at 05:52:07 PST, seller added the following information: For those wondering, the red triangle in the dash is because the key was in the ignition with the door open when that picture was taken. I've uploaded another close-up of the instrument cluster showing no warning lights, except for the parking brake (Parking was set).
