This is a 1951 ½ ton Chevrolet pickup truck. This truck comes with a Kansas Bill of Sale. It’s a rare 5 window cab. The truck was running for many years, but about 3 months ago it has froze up. The truck is original and complete with the exception of missing the back bumper. The break lines and gas lines are in working order. This is my father’s truck that he has used for many years but decided he doesn’t want to work on it any more. It has not thrown a rod, the head is not cracked, he tried to start it up one day after it sitting for a few weeks and it wouldn’t start. He rebuilt the carb and starter motor with no success. It has original 216 engine with transmission that shifts on the column. It had be repainted some years back. The paint has some starches and dents, and surface rust but not bad for an old farm truck. The glass has a few cracks but it is solid, back glass is milky, the corner glasses are in good shape. The electrical system works, even horn and aftermarket electric windshield wiper. The seat has a few tears in it but not horrible. The bed needs new wood, see photo. All of the wheels turn freely.
