This is the Niki Lauda special edition #248 of 350. Clear title and around 65K original miles. It needs some work, but what a fun car! It worked when last driven five years ago. Since then the battery has gone out, so the driving condition is unknown. I do know that the paint needs touch up and the fuel injection system needs work. I am not a mechanic, but please see the detailed pictures and feel free to ask questions, I will answer to the best of my ability! The special features of this Niki Lauda edition are are: --fiberglass rear spoiler that wraps onto the rear quarters that was a first for Alfa Romeo, special badges on the sides, and a numbered plaque on the dash. --Only one color scheme was offered: Red with stick on blue/white stripes. --Other differences included door mirrors, exhaust tip etc… Notes for collectors: --The Alfa Romeo Spider is the longest running model from the 103 year old company. --Launched at the 1978 Long Beach Grand Prix, the Niki Lauda Spider, Chassis # 001 was driven on the circuit by Niki himself. --Only an estimated 350 Niki Lauda Special Edition Spiders. *As I understand that a car's history is often important for collectors, I am prepared to type out the known history of the car and include it, at buyer's request!
