Great first or training motorcycle for a beginning or intermediate rider. This bike has saddlebags, cushioned seat, backrest, floorboards and windshield. Excellent bike to ride around town or commute to and from the office. This motorcycle was ridden by a female rider, well maintained until being placed in storage for eight years. This motorcycle is being sold "as is" for it needs minimal work to restore it to riding condition. If one chooses not to restore it to riding condition, it is in excellent condition to be "cannibalized" for parts for another Shadow. It has very little rust that can be seen other than a few spots on the under body about the size of the head of a tack. There is a small "quarter size" dent on the gas tank otherwise the bike is in excellent condition for a bike of its age. The rider has decided she no longer cares to ride a Cruiser motorcycle and is moving on to a "Tourer." The buyer is responsible for transportation and payment within ten days after the auction closes. Payment should be made by secured funds or cash. The bike will need to have the battery replaced and the carb cleaned at a minimum to restore it to riding the condition. Cost to do this will vary but, I would suggest one contact a mechanic in their area to ascertain approximate cost. I can provide a price range of my area as I had the work done on our other bikes that were stored and maintained under similar conditions. The brakes, tires and leather are all in good shape.
