1937 CHEVROLET STANDARD 2 DOOR SLOPE BACK SEDAN Body: metal body and fenders clean, very nice 2.5-inch top chop, molded rear deck and grill shell, perfect grill, shadow boxed license and taillights, side mirrors, new tinted glass; some rust bottom of doors; very small dent in top, aluminum fire wall. Have running board brackets, frame is straight.Motor/Trans: 360 cid Mopar and auto. Motor partially rebuilt with rings, valve job, guides, lifters, rod and main bearings, heads trued .040 (9:1 compression), Erson cam, newly rebuilt Edelbrock 600 carburetor, new oil pump, water pump, timing gear set, seals and gaskets; parked 100 miles later. Motor starts and runs well but shows signs of crankcase pressure build up (needs a leak down test). Trans was OK but can't vouch now. Good header pipes and thrush glass-packs, needs tailpipes. Steel gas tank w/ good sender unit.Rear End: 8-inch FordBrakes: New disc front/drum rear, good lines/hoses.Suspension/Steering: Tilt steering column, Mustang II front with new ball joints and bushings, Chevy Luv springs in the rear, traction bars.Tires/Rims: American Racing 15"x 8", 5:60 fr, 2.35 rear with wheel locksCooling: stock radiator, electric fan in front, flex fan behind. Cools OK.Wiring: Very neat new wiring harness, all works including park, turn, b/d headlights, brake lights, back up lights, license, tachometer, radio; electric aerial, original vacuum wipers work. GM alternator mounted out of sight.Interior: Very nice dash and gauges, Sun Tach, good black carpet, small comp. steering wheel, good doorsill strips, nicely chopped window frames, usable seats front and rear (not in photos), very nice radio/cd player. Will need upholstery work.
