Over 70 Photos below After Description!! GM of Canada docs pictured below Proving this is a REAL 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport 396!! Original color was the beautiful Forrest Green Metallic with White Stripes! Drivetrain: Engine: 396 cubic inch engine (not original engine, but decodes to a 68 396 block engine code #T0527IV) Sitting since 2001, but we got it running off a gas can. It sounds Extremely Strong and Worked! Runs but hasn't been driven. So needs to be gone thru to be road worthy. Told it has Solid Lifters and a Competiton Cam, not verified.Miles show 56,881. Probably 156,881. Title says exempt. Intake: Alluminum Chevrolet L-78 Intake casting #3933163 Heads: Square Port Heads (might be L-78 heads) Carburator: Holley 750 Double Pumper (could probably use a rebuild) Rear: 12 Bolt Rear (came with G80 Posi 3.31, unsure if original rear) Transmission: 400 Turbo Trans (originally a m21 4 speed car) Dual exhaust 15 x 8 Ralley wheels on back & 15 x7 Ralley wheels on front Body & Undercarriage: Chrome rocker moldings are not an SS option, added afterwards by previous owner.Frame, floors, roof, and hood have some surface rust, but are pretty solid Fenders are pretty solid Doors, rear quarters, & trunk could all use work or replacement. Interior: Black bucket seats interior (period correct, but not chevelle pattern) Original 4 speed console interior 1972 SS steering wheel U14 Tachometer, Clock, and gauges All glass is in the car. Interior needs to be redone (Again, see photos below) This classic is documented leaving the factory as true 1970 Chevelle Super Sport 396 4 speed car.
