You are bidding on this beautiful 1963 Split Window Corvette only.Car was built in the 2nd week of October 1962 (very early 1963), the 611th coupe produced.It's my understanding the 1st owner had problems with the engine about April of "64" and the engine was replaced with "64" factory engine (warranted?) 327-250 H.P. Drivers side casting # 3272870 passenger side casting number F84 (June 8th 1964). 2nd owner went thru engine at 85,000 and put 300 H.P. heads back on. 3rd owner took the car to California, years later when the car came back to Michigan is when I purchased it.I have owned the car for 30 years.I had the body stripped to fiberglass, painted to its original Sebring Silver color in lacquer/clear coat. A $60.00 option when new.Body lines, hood, headlight and door gaps are perfect.My car was featured in the Detroit news paper at the G.M. World Headquarters in 1998 for the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the corvette. Featured cars were "53", "63", "73", etc. etc .
