I'm selling a 1978 Malibu Classic 2-door car midway through the rebuild process. The Malibu body sits on an 1987 Cutlass frame with the Olds 307 engine and 4 speed automatic. The approximate milage for the engine/transmission is 78,000 miles. the Malibu has silver paint with the traditional Malibu rally racing striping. The bumpers and other chrome acsessories have been rechromed. The following new parts are installed: side window wipers, trunk mat, brakes, radiator, catalytic converter, flowmaster muffler, carburetor, plugs, wires, radiator, evaperator, motor mounts, exhaust manifold gaskets, and gas tank. Parts on hand that go with car include: refurbished wheel caps and new beauty rings, tail pipes, new floor insulation, new carpet, new front door panels, new belts, front and rear leather seats from a 2002 Monte Carlo. All original parts that were salvegable will go with the Malibu. I have invested over 200 hours and $13,000 in the car, however for health reasons must let someone else finish it. The car is driveable to the extent that it can pulled on to a trailer. All parts going with the car will fit into a pickup truck. Car is sold "as is".
