Vehicle Detail

I bought this motorcycle new from the showroom floor in Schenectady, NY in December 2000. Its a single owner bike that has been garage kept and never stored outside. I did modify it with the Supertrapp and Mikuni carburetor that was offered at the time. I removed the air pump, the air filter snorkel, and I blocked off the two holes on the front of the engine. Included with this bike is the original exhaust system (includes header, exhaust pipe, and clamp), the air pump with hoses, (1) one of the original mirrors (I can't find the other one), the original owners manual, the full tool kit under the seat, plus a big bore kit that was purchased at the time. This includes a 600cc Wiseco piston and sleeve to make it a 600cc. I never had the modification done, if you were interested in doing this you'll need to find a machine shop that is capable of replacing the sleeve. I'll also through in a Dayco cycle cover, a front wheel stand from harbor freight, and a JC Whitney rear stand. Both stands work OK with the bike but are not optimum. I use straps with the front stand to make sure that the bike doesn't fall over, the rear stand takes some adjustment to get it work. I start and run it about once a year, but other than taking it up and down the driveway it hasn't been on the road for quite a while now. I'd love to keep it around but feel that it should go to a better home now. This is a nice collectors bike and will have people asking you questions about it wherever you go. If you have any other questions or would like additional photos let me know. I may have the stock springs still but I cannot guarantee that I will be able to find or provide them if anyone would want the stock springs. I was also asked about the spots around the key on the plastic. They are not cracks but they are some sort of black spot that didn't come out with plastic cleaner. My only guess is that they are a result of my key chain flopping around. Since I was looking harder at that area there is also a nick in the left side of the aluminum top clamp. I don't remember if this was there since I bought the bike or if the nick was occurred when the front springs were changed.
