Please feel free to CONTACT me for any additional questions or clarification. Please try not to be like "that guy" carguy1781 "indiana jones"Dear cst2cstbui, I guess I'm confused? I'm bit we'll versed in titles. So it has a normal title or a rebuilt or a salvage then rebuilt? Thx sorry for the confusion. - carguy1781 @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Dear carguy1781,apparently you are confused, a clean title refers to a title clean and clear of any holds are liens and is readily transferable. A salvage title is a car that is not able to be registered for road use due to various reasons, salvage title and rebuildable title are sometime used interchangeably. Once the issues have been addressed or fixed, the car is inspected and a title will be reissued and branded as rebuilt. So, yes this car once had a salvage/rebuildable title. The title has been reissued over ten years ago. Other titles may include salvage/non rebuildable/ parts only; none of which apply to this car. This car had a clean and clear title that is branded rebuilt. It may be registered for road use in any state. If you have any other questions or needs for clarification please inquire prior to making a bid. Especially a "winning" bid. - cst2cstbui This is a great, rust-free, 2 owner, original and stock FJ62. It has spent its life in Las Vegas, Nevada. I never smoked in it nor does it show any signs. I don't know what caused the car to have a rebuilt title, I don't see any noticeable repairs or damage. PRIOR QUESTIONS' Question & AnswerAnswered OnQ: Have you tried to smog it in CA? Does it have all the smog equipment?Oct-01-13A: It has a current emissions in Nevada. I have never tried in California . I don't live there.Q: So is this truck already registered in CA? Also, Does it have a salvage title?Sep-30-13A: It's currently registered in NevadaQ: Rob Walsh here again...I'm still interested in the vehicle. My reason for this note is to ask about the title issues that showed up on the report in july 1998 "TITLE (Title #:20044256) INSURANCE LOSS" and july 2002 "TITLE (Title #:5817340-2510) REBUILT/REBUILDABLE EXCLUDED/EXEMP" Thanks! Rob 435.659.8173Sep-26-13A: My best guess is that something happened to it in 1998 that caused it to be an "insurance loss" and then in 2002 somebody made the necessary adjustments to put it back on the road. I have no idea what it was because I never met the original owner. I don't see an indication where any major damage occurred. On Oct-14-13 at 16:36:14 PDT, seller added the following information: AS OF 10/14/2013, the rear glass is shattered! I was hauling a table in the FJ today and in rolled back and shattered the glass. The tint is still holding it together. It is not likely that I will replace it before it sell!
