The truck cab and chassis does not include a cargo or utility box, which was removed from the 8-foot frame and mounted on a new truck. The entire speedometer had to be replaced, and the current mileage is not accurate at 192,822. The actual mileage on the engine is approximately 116,000. The truck was purchased new by the Fontana DPW in March 2000 for $27,000. The minimum bid the Village will accept for the truck and the plow is $4,200. The truck is on display across the street from the Fontana Village Hall, at the southeast corner of Highway 67 and Second Avenue.
