HERE IS ANOTHER NO RESERVE AUCTION THIS IS A 1972 DATSUN 240Z THATS BEEN SITTING FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. ITS A GREAT FIND, PROJECT STREET/ RACE JOY RIDE CAR THAT HAS BEEN ON ESTATE . THE PREVIOUS OWNER SAYS MY SON HAD IT SINCE HE WAS 19 YRS OLD, TITLE ORIGINAL & OLD TITLE TOO. WELL I GOT IT INSPECTED AT MY LOCAL DMV WITH MANY COMPLIMENTS. NOW UPDATED WITH NEW TITLE READY TO TRANSFER. ITS A 5SPEED & ITS GOT ALOT OF OLD AFTERMARKET RACE PARTS ON IT HEADERS UNKNOWN REAR DIFF. RATIO UNKN. I CAN HEAR A CLICK BY THE STARTER WITH THE TURN OF THE KEY WHEN I INSTALLED A BATTERY. THE PAINT IS FADED BUT IF POLISHED IT CAN SHINE LIKE THE TWO END UPPER CORNERS/COVERS FOR BATT. & BRAKE CLUTCH FLUIDS DID SEE PIC OF HOOD . REST OF CAR HAS NOT BEEN POLISHED JUST WASHED. On Oct-08-13 at 19:02:44 PDT, seller added the following information: I added pics of under chassis ,you can see up into strut tower orange paint as for frame looks great for the age but rust on floors as stated see around floor panel seams near batt box area. The back of car is nice like I said if you know what your doing this car will be easy fix & worth a lot more in the end. The fuel pump looks like old trash can gray in color lol & L24 engine . This is no junk everyone but a chance to own a great car that's a classic. On Oct-09-13 at 14:52:25 PDT, seller added the following information: Hi everyone , I have had many many emails concerning paint, rust, frame, ect. So I had polish the car by hand once & it shines, the bottom of doors is very nice the chrome around windows is nice as well, I added a video of walk around, whish I could drive it into the sun to see this gem really shine. This Datsun Z is a beautiful survivor, most of rust is around the panel seams due to battery sitting in tray would be the worst of rust damage see video for frame questions & more. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9cs0eZ-vsIOn Oct-09-13 at 19:56:06 PDT, seller added the following information: The car is located in Omaha Nebraska 68117 Also the fuel gage works shows fuel in tank but smells very old, the amp meter works, the clock doesn't work or by tap for few seconds then stops again. The rear defroster light switch works lights up heater blower fan works, headlights lights work too. The center console is there with the slider compartment working the other is in back spare I guess or not mounted some how or extra but comes with car. Seats flip forward compartments in back functional & all there with lining inside still. The radiator fluid looks green to yellow color & there is 3/4 on dip stick for engine oil., brake fluid in brake master but not in clutch master. Steering feels great no unusual noises. Now please everyone I got a lot of emails about the engine block I don't know what's in it, crank, pistons, bore size factory or aftermarket ??? What I do know is seen in pics, I have not removed head just the valve cover to see & get an idea of previous owner care for engine who had it for many, many years. The top half looks very nice & clean race performance built already so who knows what set up with the 5speed upgrade too , all tires hold air & are weather cracked but the back tires is bald lol that's telling me what a fun car this was on streets back then that just got forgotten about till now :) Also everyone to be fair no offers, please bid to win see my feedback bid with confidence.
