Vehicle Detail
*** Having a new clutch, pressure plate. pilot bearing, etc. installed on 10/9/13 at the Ford Dealer for a cost of $1431. **** 1996 Mustang Cobra SVT with 108,846 original miles (may go up since I drive it occasionally). This is a garage-kept, well-maintained vehicle that is in very nice condition. This car was driven in the winter by the first owner, not sure how many years. Runs and drives great. The car has every option available. Recent new battery, rear shocks, and Michelin Pilot tires. Picture of wheel is representative of all wheels, they are near mint. Modifications: -3:73 gear -Axle-back Magnaflow exhaust -Cobra grille emblem – have original running horse -Brembo slotted brake rotors -Black "COBRA" letter inserts on back bumper The bad: -Chips in paint on hood due to normal driving -Paint faded in a small rectangle shape under sail panel on right side due to sun shining in garage window (See pic) -Coolant light comes on occasionally but doesn’t overheat. There was a cooling/radiator TSB for 96 Cobras that was not done on this car. I have a ton of original documentation from the original owner: window sticker, dealer invoice, SVT certificate, pictures of it being built at the factory and Ford studio shots. The original owner was a Ford engineer. I also have the 96 Mustang brochure and SVT brochure and SVT single sheet. I am the fourth owner. Owner #1 - owned it until 7/2010 Owner #2 - owned it from 7/2010 to 8/2010 Owner #3 - owned it from 8/2010 to 9/2013 Owner #4 - me, bought it in 9/2013 I had no intention of selling it until I came across and bought a 1974 Bronco project and need the money to restore it. This is a great example of a nice original driver that can be driven and shown with pride. $500 non-refundable deposit within 24-hours of auction end. Buyer pays all shipping. Car must be paid in full before it is picked up and must be picked up within 7 days unless you contact me first and we agree to something different BEFORE you bid. Sold as-is, no warranty expressed or implied. Please ask all questions BEFORE bidding. I strongly encourage you to come and inspect and drive the vehicle first. Car is for sale locally and on other websites and I reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time. Call 248-417-8041 for more information. Thanks for looking, and good luck!
