1978 Honda CB

Bidding is for a complete Honda 400cc Automatic package of goodies. Included are a 1978 CB400A that was last plated in 2009, a 1979 non-running CM400A bike for parts or restoration, and misc. extra parts. The CB shows 9800 miles, and was a running bike when last used in 2009. It comes with a rare luggage rack and front crash bar. I recently tried jumping the battery and bike will turn over, but not quite start. I suspect a carb. cleaning may be needed. Otherwise, the bike is complete and original. While this bike is not quite in "showroom condition", with some tweeking, this could be a real sweet little ride. The CM shows 28000 miles and, while mostly complete, would need some work to become a running machine. I consider this a parts bike for listing purposes. The kick starter isn't catching anything, just moving freely. So whether or not this bike even has compression, is unknown. It's all there and does have a lot of good parts, including seat, bodywork, exhaust, etc. Both bikes have clean titles and keys. While I've tried to give a complete and honest description of this package, I can offer no guarantees on these vehicles and parts. I need some winter space in the garage, so I have set a far more than reasonable starting bid. So low, that you couldn't go wrong by just parting them out yourself. Just try finding another rear luggage rack, for example. This is a NO RESERVE auction. I have 100% LIFETIME feedback as a seller, so no worries here.
