1973 VW beetle converted to a Baja Bug: Inside newly upholstered seats, new carpet, new door panels, headliner, and radio. Outside tube front and rear bumpers, side nerf bars. 15X5 front rims and 15X8 rear, all in great shape. Floor pans were replaced in 2010. Is it deep or mostly surface rust? - angelo383z Dear angelo383z, There are blistered rust spots at the air intakes on both side near the side rear windows that are likely all the way through, (deep). I took the chrome covers off and took close pictures of this area. There is rust at both door jams under the front hinges, (deep). Other than these places it is only surface rust. Such as on the chrome dog house on the top of the engine. The undercarriage has no rust to speak of even where the heater boxes come through, (Surface). - garyfikes
