Vehicle Detail
Beautiful and rare 2-door 1965 Chrysler New Yorker. 413 big block with 727 torqueflite automatic transmission, original drivetrain (numbers matching car), 2.76 gear Holly 750 carb, Weiand intake. Engine fires right up and runs smooth, the car drives beautifully. Chrome air cleaner and valve covers, the Flowmaster dual exhaust with chrome tips makes a nice deep rumble and is less than 1 year old. 18” Viscera street concepts wheels with Kumho Ecsta 235/50/18 tires, chrome Lakewood traction bars, Gabriel hi jackers air shocks; traction bars and air shocks are less than a month old. Will need some work on the brakes but they stop it fine. The car has been a weekend driver for last 6 years. It was restored 6 years ago with re-upholstered interior and paint. Everything except the dash was redone, including the headliner, and all interior is in very good condition. Interior is maroon velour inserts on white vinyl; the dash is all original and in very good condition with the exception of two small cracks in the dash pad. All gauges work perfectly, also has an Alpine cd stereo in glove box. This is a no a/c car from the factory. The car is in good condition; but, unfortunately has been parked outside, needs paint and has some rust along the sail panels and some slight bubbling on the front edge of the hood. All chrome is in good shape and accounted for except the New Yorker badges on the rear fenders are missing. Original color of the car is black and it’s supposed to have the vinyl sail panels with Chrysler emblems, which probably accounts for the rust in that area. The sail panel emblems come with the car, but are not on right now. The car also has the original pre-recall white taillight lenses. Original sales brochure from 1965 (The most beautiful Chrysler ever built) and paperwork from the Chrysler Corporate Historical Collection with a copy of the build card, all convey with the car. Again, some rust on sail panels and slight bubbling on front edge of hood otherwise rust free. Just add prep and paint and she’s show ready. Clean clear Florida Title. Exempt Odometer. Buyer responsible for picking up or shipment of vehicle from Port Richey Florida. Vehicle will be available for transport, with 24 hours notice, whenever needed within 30 days of auction closing. $500 US dollars due at close of auction and remainder of balance due in 7 days.
