1958 Dodge D100 Short Bed Power Giant Era 3 Owner 1/2 Ton Project Truck Submitted for your approval is an original 1958 Dodge D100 short bed 3 owner project truck with what looks to be the original pink/yellow slip commercial title. NO Back fees. NO bill of sale. NO registration issues period. We paid $2800.00 USD for it some years ago from an estate sale up here in the Eastern Sierra's. This was literally in the hay barn. If you are in the market for a project truck you have found it right here. High bid gets it. Some guys online are asking 15K-28K for this exact Dodge truck restored so there is plenty of room to build your classic ride your way with a lot of money to spare. This is a much better investment than money in the bank as these original California classic trucks are appreciating fast. Just about every reality TV show are restoring these classic trucks for a hefty profit. This is a desert dry ORIGINAL California black plate truck. Was a cool push button automatic at one time. Rockers, cab corners & floorboards are all equally rust free & rock solid. Body is both original & unusually straight which is pictured. Doors all open & shut good. BTW doors are both aligned properly which is unusual indeed for this year & make. Good soft bench seat. Front bumper, grill metal & valance are equally straight & properly aligned pictured. All four (4) matching door latches & window cranks with original rubber included. I could part this beauty out & make a small fortune; However, I don't have any extra time presently. Me & my son took this classic truck on as a father & son project & now he is in trucking school. Our plans were to install a Hemi motor with a 5 speed transmission & notch the frame to lower it. We have already started surface prepping the body for paint so some of the body work has been properly initiated which is all pictured. I am also including a working transmission, stock positract or limited slip rear end, clutch, cast iron bell housing, & many extra parts pictured. No motor is included. I have the original running 318 wide block available for another $350.00. Tires are all rough. Sold as is as pictured. Repeat this is a project truck so it will need a little of this & alot of that.
