Vehicle Detail

Nice 1972 Chevrolet C20 2WD Truck (The Ebay categories didn't show C20 so I had to add it to the C10 category). I've owned the truck for approximately 2 1/2 years and put about 4k miles on it. I mainly use it to tow my boat (see pics) and take care of yard work (mulch/wood/etc.) although I'm between vehicles at the moment so I'm using it as my daily driver (3 miles each way to work). Per the previous owner, the truck had it's motor (402 Big Block) and transmission (Turbo 400) rebuilt approximately 30k miles ago. It also has an upgraded electronic ignition, Edlebrock carburetor, Flowtech ceramic headers and Flowmaster exhaust. The tires are in really good condition (at least 80% tread left). Within the last 6 months I've installed new Monroe Max Air shocks on the rear (rated to 125 PSI max), new Monroe Sensa-Trac Shocks on the front, new Moog springs (front/rear) as well as a trailer hitch (CURT) rated for 10,000 lbs. These were all added to pull my boat (dry weight of boat/trailer was 6500 lbs). The truck starts up without any issues and runs/tows very strong. There is some body work necessary (see pics) but all in all it's in really good shape...remember it is a 1972! Minor problems that I know of include the following: - Cig lighter doesn't work- Windshield wiper fluid doesn't work- Heat knob broke off- Horn won't blow- slow oil leak (added about 3 quarts in 2 1/2 years and there is NO smoke coming out of the exhaust). I believe it's a gasket leak below but haven't had the time to work on it. Other than that I can't think of any other issues but will add them if anything additional comes to me. The vehicle is available for a test drive/viewing. I reserve the right to end the auction early without notice due to having the truck listed locally for sale. If you have any questions, please text/call me at (757) 621-8009. The reserve is LOW. On Oct-01-13 at 15:15:05 PDT, seller added the following information: Wanted to mention that the dual gas tanks have been converted to a single gas tank. And the passenger side tool box panel does not have the tool box any longer. The panel is just screwed on to cover the access door. On Oct-06-13 at 07:07:33 PDT, seller added the following information: Just wanted to add that you have to jiggle the key when starting. It starts right up...just takes a little jiggling of the key. Would have mentioned it earlier...I'm just so used to doing it it slipped my mind.
