1988 Honda TRX 200 SX

Up for sale is a 1988 Honda ATV. The asking price is $800, or best offer. The model is a TRX 200 SX. The ATV runs and shifts great. It has starts right up, idles great, and has plenty of power. The engine has no leaks and does burn any oil. Engine compression is still like new. This has electric start, and also has a pull starter. It has automatic shifting, via the foot lever (no clutch). It also has reverse. This has always been an adult owned ATV. This was a one owner ATV. I purchased it from my brother in law, who bought it brand new back in 1988, from Manchester Honda. The ATV still has the original owner's manual, and tire air pressure gauge. He always maintained the ATV, and took care of it. He did not use it much; only used for occasional trail riding. - carburetor was rebuilt. - installed new tires, front and rear. These tires still have the nubbies, and not even ridden on. (cost was over $350.00 for the purchase and installation). - installed new Maier plastics, on front and rear. (cost was over $450.00). The old plastics were are cracked from age. - installed a new drive chain. - installed a new hydraulic master cylinder rebuild kit for the front brakes. The front and rear brake pads are in good condition - it will need a new battery. There is a battery in it, but will not hold a charge. To start, you can either jump the battery, or use the pull start. - the vinyl seat cover is aged, and has miscellaneous cracks, and wear through spots. It could use a new cover.
