Vehicle Detail

been working on this project on and off for a few years. health now has me more off than on. i will try to describe it as best that i can. BODY: rust free (now) new fron fenders, new front hood section, new radiator support, new rocker panels, new door skins, new front floor, new cab corners, new cab suports, new front bed section, new roll pan. the rear wheel wells have been widened 4". door handles have been shaved and 60 pound remote door poppers installed. tilt steering wheel. power windows. new rubber seals on all windows and doors. dash rebuilt to fit suburban controls and a double din radio. all rough body work has been done and primed. it does need finish work though. heat shield insulation has been glued in the interior CHASSIS: original frame cleaned and painted with the body off. the front and rear suspension is from a 1990 suburban with 57000 miles. front disc brakes, rear drum. gas tank has been moved to the rear of the frame. suspension has been lowered front 3"and back 4". all wiring harness and computer from the suburban have been installed. also has remote start and remote door poppers. needs new tires. DRIVE TRAIN: 5.7 tbi fuel injection engine and 700r4 transmission from a 1990 suburban with 57000 miles on it. new radiator. original suburban ac system installed. new shortened drive shaft. 3" exhaust with fowmasters and headers. 10 bolt rear end. . LEFT TO BE DONE: INTERIOR: i have good bucket seats to go in and power window controls are mounted in the console and operating. needs carpet and door panels. need to run new vacuum lines for the ac and heat control and install the ducts. BED: deck needs to be put in, gas tank fill line needs to be plumbed to the fill door installed in the bed side. there is no tail gate, but all old chain holes have been welded and finished. BODY: finish grill and headlamp installation. i have all the parts with the exception of the headlight buckets. reintall rear tail lights. final body work for painting. it has a couple spots of color where i was trying to decide on what to go with. DRIVE TRAIN: complete OVERALL: the truck runs great and the transmission shifts great. i drove the donor suburban prior to ripping it apart. it had been wrecked. a lot of time and money has gone into this truck already and will make a great daily driver for someone with the time and good health to finish it. you can hit the remote key fob from 50 feet away and it starts right up every time. buyers with no feedback need to contact me prior to bidding or i will remove the bid. On Oct-02-13 at 12:45:23 PDT, seller added the following information: couple things i have noticed this week since listing the truck. it needs rear shocks since it was lowered the originals dont fit. need to make support brackets for the rear leaf spring mounts the front ones are on, they are just 3" angle. the passenger side door popper is not getting the right voltage. there is 12 volts coming to the relay but only 5 volts coming out. the relay probably needs to be replaced. they are about $5. the popper works fine when i ran a hot wire from the battery to make sure it was ok. just wanted to add what i saw. thanks
