Vehicle Detail
1972 Blazer - CLEAN TITLE and currently registered as I drive it weekly This is a second owner truck. I bought it 8 months ago in hopes to restore it completely from the ground up. We chemically stripped the front clip , sanded the bare metal and epoxy primed it a solid color. BODY: There was no bondo in the front clip at all. As a matter of fact, the son of the original owner said his dad only has a small fist sized ding pulled from the rear quarter in all the years he owned it. I looked at that spot and tapped on it and didn’t hear any bondo there. There are dents in the front driver quarter and passenger door. There is rust in the bottom of the driver rocker, door and passenger side cowl/firewall. Cant find any other areas but you should have your guy look it over. The truck is almost completely OEM except the grill, mirrors on the sides which the previous owner changed at some point, and steering wheel (original is in the backseat) Mechanical:Miles listed are NOT correct. The truck / drives runs great. I drive it once twice per week to the gym. The gauges work except the speedo as I disconnected it because it was making an annoying noise, but was operational prior to removing it from the back of the cluster. The motor was rebuilt per the seller and is the OEM block, per the seller. Runs pretty strong. Idles perfectly, no overheating. I had the trans rebuilt after I bought it so I could drive it. The transfer case didn’t have to be rebuilt but only re sealed. Receipts plus nation wide warrantee. It has front disk, power steering, tilt, automatic, 4x4 that I did try after the trans was re built and worked, has factory AC but is disconnected. Two fuel tanks Top is removable, few small cracks, works perfectly w/lockCracks in the top/door Interior: The seats and seat material are in awesome shape. Carpet is not. Heater works but I can’t completely shut it off at the controls but the controls / fan switch worksInterior light worksNo TachThe radio was working but stopped, the light however, works inside it. Windshield has BB holeTruck is listed in other publications so I do reserve the right to remove it at any time. http://s1250.photobucket.com/user/ma.../1972%20Blazer
