For Sale: 1969 Mustang Fastback/Sportsroof. I am selling my Mustang as I am getting older and want to thin out my collection some. This is a very nice car. No rust and no accidents. Very nice to excellent condition It is the original color Winter Blue Paint. The hood scoop is factory and original to the car. The blinkers in the hood work as the should. I added the rear wing ( reproduction and is nicer than the factory ones as they sagged) I just added the front spoiler just today. Awesome looking. The car has a recent 351 Windsor motor that runs very well. No odd noises or smoke. The exhaust is new and nice quiet and smooth. The transmission is the Ford Top Loader 4 speed. The rear end is an 8"inch open carrier with 2:79 stock rear gear. The car runs out well and has a nice quiet ride that gets good gas milage. The car has 4 wheel drum brakes and I have a "NEW" front disc brake kit for this car new in box that will come with it for the new owner to install if he or she so chooses. The car stops very nicely as is. I just always liked disc brakes up front but never got around to installing it. This a basic car "F" code, not a Mach 1,GT, or Boss. The great thing is the original owner was an older person and kept the car nice. It was not abused always garaged. Here is a very nice driver and can be shown at anu car show with pride. Everytime I drive the car I get lots of thumbs up. When I stop for gas the car always draws people to it as it is nice to look at. The interior has the Deluxe high back Mach 1 style seats with new foam and covers front and rear. The rear seat is the very desirable sport deck or fold down rear seat as it is commonly called. The headliner is perfect no sags, no seams coming apart, no tears. The carpet is new. All instruments are working. The horn however does not nor the radio. the trunk is finished with carpet. It has a correct Ford jack and lug wrench. There is a original 14" steel rim as well. The only power option is the factory power steering. Enjoy the car as is or take it in any direction you want. The best thing is a nice rust free Southern California car since new, straight unmolested car as a blank canvas to create whatever you wish. No need to spend thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours doing expensive body and interior work and not to mention paint. Just turn the key and go. The car is sold as is where is.
