Vehicle Detail

ONE PREVIOUS OWNER! ONLY 100,000 MILES! TRUCKS IN THIS CONDITION DON'T COME AROUND OFTEN! Old Body Style 1995 Ford F250 XLT 4X4, powered with the VENERABLE 7.3L International Harvester Powerstroke Turbo Diesel! This truck was bought new and spent its entire life on Whidbey Island in Washington State, until I purchased it a few months ago. It was bought and owned by a retired Marine. It was always very well maintained and serviced by the same Ford dealership that it was purchased from. It was primarily used for camping trips and pulling a camper. It had never been used as a work truck, NEVER used as an off road vehicle. NEVER SMOKED IN! ALWAYS ADULT DRIVEN! NO ACCIDENTS! No Modifications under the hood! Original exhaust except for a new chrome tip. Interior is in EXCELLENT condition as you can tell in the pictures. KEYLESS ENTRY! No sag in the driver's seat like most this age have. There is one little spot on the dash that is a little cracked, but its hardly noticable. The exterior has been lightly restored. It was not far from being perfect when I bought it, but some things were showing its age. I had the white stripe repainted, all decals and pinstripe replaced. The green paint was also extensively touched up on the rocker panels, but was not totally repainted. There was one small dent pulled and a few scratches here and there, but all that was taken care of by a local auto paint and body shop that specializes in vintage cars. Bushwacker fender flares were also painted to match and installed, which gives the truck an awesome old school look! The exterior is not perfect, but it is what some would call "cherry". There is a slight waviness to the passenger side door (barely noticable but it is there), there is one spot of overspray on the white stripe (not bad), and the trim plate on the tailgate has a 2 or 3 little dimples in it. The undercarriage is BEAUTIFUL! NO RUST issues at all! The truck was undercoated at the dealer when it was new and it looks almost PERFECT! The original spare is still there and in NEW condition! NEW Front & Rear RANCH HAND brand bumpers, NEW Eagle Wheels (MADE IN USA!!!), NEWER TIRES (less than 3,000 miles), NEW Diamond Plate DeeZee brand Bedrail caps and Tailgate cover (Made in USA)!!! Front Add-a-Leaf leveling kit! Husky brand Floor Liners! Warn Locking Hubs! RECENT 100,000 mile service by Ford dealership! EVERYTHING WORKS PERFECTLY! Drives like new! Shifts smoothly! 4X4 works great! I'd drive this truck across the country tomorrow without a single worry! If you know anything about the 7.3L Powerstroke Fords, then you know that 100,000 miles is about a quarter of its life expectancy! This truck is not "like new" or "mint" but it looks more like a 4 or 5 year old truck than an 18 year old truck. If you've been looking for a truck like this, then you know you will have a very hard time finding a nicer Super Duty truck of this age. It took me two years to find it and it was literally the farthest point from me in the continental United States. I'm only selling for my son's tuition! I'd really love to keep it but I drive it so little I just can't justify keeping it. I planned on buying a camper when I purchased it and that's just not going to happen now. Please feel free to ask me any questions, but there will be no BUY NOW price lower than the starting bid! I have well over $16,000 invested in this truck. I'd already be taking a huge hit if it doesn't sell for more than the starting bid. I will be driving the truck on occassion until someone bids on it, but I doubt I will put more than a couple hundred miles on it. If you want to speak to me personally prior to bidding, feel free to email me your phone number. Thanks for looking!
