This FJ is way more vehicle than I need which is why I’m selling it and have the title in-hand. I’ve kept a log book which I will include indicating all service and fuel stops since new. -Cosmetically the FJ is in extremely good condition-I’ve looked and don’t see chips. There are some small scratches on the some of the lower silver parts (on the back). Some small scratching on the interior door-sills from getting in and out but nothing beyond normal wear & tear. -This FJ has received 6 oil services including 1 transmission fluid change. Majority of work performed at Toyota Dealerships and an oil service at a qualified independent shop. (NO quick-lube service shops). The front and rear differentials have been drained and filled as well as the cabin air-filter. The tires are original and the tread is fine although I was planning on replacing them after this coming winter. -This FJ has never been “off-roading”. This FJ spent the majority of it’s time carting kids to school and soccer practice with a couple of long road trips from Portland Oregon to Santa Monica, CA. The most off-roading this FJ has seen is a snow covered parking lot at a ski resort that didn’t even require putting it into 4WD. Please note the FJ's manual states that the transfer case needs to be lubricated monthly by engaging 4WD and for no less than 10 miles. Since I never did any offroading I am near a long straight dirt/gravel road that I would drive back and forth on to allow the transfer cases to lubricate and not bind. I’ve done this consistently since I purchased it. **Also, I’ve never towed anything with this FJ although I did keep a ball in the hitch in order to dissuade people from tapping my bumper when attempting to park (trailer ball not included). -I have only used Premium or Plus fuel from Chevron or 76 and have many (all?) receipts on file. (No grocery store, Arco, or big box fuel fill-ups) -Extended Warranty: This vehicle is sold by me AS-IS without warranty expressed or implied by me but there is some factory warranty left (3-year/36k mile) and when I purchased the FJ through AAA’s purchase program and I bought an extended warranty ($1,127.00) that they tell me is completely transferrable for a fee of $50 should you choose to do so. The warranty is through Interstate Star Auto and administered by Interstate National Dealer Services, Inc. (800-942-0400). This extended warranty is subject to all of their rules and I have requested and will include the form you need to transfer the warranty program. There were 3 levels of warranty (Gold, Platinum, & Diamond) and I bought the Diamond. The plan is for 6 years/100,000 miles (72 months/100,000k miles from original sale date which was 9/29/10). I purchased this plan through AAA at the time of purchase. -I’ve kept a driving log which I will include as well as most (all?) of the receipts. The FJ has only gone in for minor things like oil servicing and has never had to go in for any kind of part failure. This FJ has been perfectly reliable and continues to operate as new. -Seat Covers: It’s worth a mention here-I bought this FJ with the intention of keeping it for a very long time so I purchased some extremely durable Superhides seat covers (http://www.marathonseatcovers.com/). I spent $400 on these and are included but please note that I didn’t wash them because I wasn’t sure if they would shrink or not. They did a great job and will continue to do so. I removed them to take pictures for the sale. -This FJ was frequently washed and polished using products from http://www.griotsgarage.com Again, there is NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED BY SELLER AND FJ CRUISER IS SOLD AS-IS.
