Up for bids today is my families 1951 cheverolet pickup. this truck was never meant to go up for sale but here we are. we decided to let someone else continue this awesome project and the funds will go to our next project. here are the details. engine: 305 sbc. removed from 1992 rs camaro. aftermarket eldelbrock intake, edelbrock carb. full length headers. hei distributor. custom aluminum diamond plate valve covers. billet air cleaner with k&n air filter. aluminum radiator. electric fans. trans: 700r4 automatic. drivetrain: 1992 silverado pickup. 5x5 lug. disc brake front end. power brakes and power steering. fuel: 36 gallon gas tank. great for cross country interior: the seat is the rear seat from a 2008 dodge charger. fits nicely very comfortable. steering wheel is from a 55 belair 210. pioneer radio. has one speaker hooked up. comes with wireless remote. steering column is an aftermarket hot rod column. billet rear view mirror. omega digital guages. everything on the gauges work. the gas gas is acting funny so its either a bad sender or bad ground. not sure. doors are missing door panels. body. parts from all years trucks mixed in. if i remember right the doors are 53. nothing perfect. needs bodywork still. but is a great for a beater. truck is equipped with sunroof. the wiper motor is currently unhooked. i replaced the carburator a few months ago and it didnt have a place to hook it up. they are slow and i dont plan on driving in the rain so i didnt see why i should hook them back up. bed wood is from brazil. called apotong???? tailgate was just replaced recently. found this one at the street rod nationals. havent got around to painting it. kinda like it as is. below is a link to a build page I created. has tons of pictures and information about the truck. videos also. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=663983 tried to list everything about the truck. im sure ive forgotten something. reserve set low. bid early and fast. dont miss out. due to the nature of the hobby. truck will be sold as is. no warranties attached.
