Last bidder wins! Here is your chance to get a great used SUV at a great deal. It has a couple minor mechanical needs but will be sold at a fraction of retail value allowing you to save money by tackling some of the repairs yourself and avoiding markup. Engine runs great, transmission shifts smooth and the brakes stop well. 4x4 was tested and engages properly. The check engine light was on when the truck came in and reading codes for a random misfire on cylinders 2 and 7. Typically a new coil pack and plug is all that is needed to fix this and this is common with this mileage. Typical tune-up stuff. We cleared the code and test drove the truck and it didn’t return. There is a slight belt noise at idle, so it is probably due for a new belt or tensioner. There is a whine somewhere in the front driveline. Sounds like it may possibly be due for wheel bearings. The body is has a clean appearance but has a few flaws. The truck has misc. scratches, dings, etc. to be expected for a truck of it’s age. There is some oxidation of paint on the hood and front fenders. This is not rust as those parts are aluminum. There is some rust on both rear quarters. Most of which you can’t see until the doors are open. There is a ding on the right rear quarter and on the roof above the right front door. All four are Cooper Discovery HT with roughly 50-60% tread remaining. Receipts found in the glovebox indicate the truck had a new battery and new right front window regulator installed at 116k miles. If you need to register your new vehicle before driving it home we can mail you the title and bill of sale after payment has been received so that you can register and insure the vehicle. If you plan to ship your vehicle, I will do anything I can to help you or your shipper. The vehicle is being stored at a trucking facility and we can be very flexible with helping a shipper load the vehicle or arranging a pick up time. Delivery within New England is possible for a fee.
