This is a 1956 GMC 100 Panel with what is supposed to be a Pontiac 316 Cubic inch V-8 with a 3 speed manual column shift transmission. GMC used the Pontiac V-8 back in 1956 and our technicians believe it to be the correct motor in this panel. We are selling this vehicle as mileage unknown, odometer reads 92,456 but we have no documentation that would tell us that those are original miles. The truck is very straight and has matching paint inside and out. This GMC is not far away from being a really nice truck. It's a great start for someone that wants to restore one of these and not have to look for a bunch of parts. It's all there. This truck runs very well, the three speed on the tree is a little tricky sometimes, but at its age you would be too. Personally I would convert this vehicle to an automatic. This truck would make a good driver just the way it sits. All the glass is good, body is very straight, paint shines with no oxidation, has nearly new BF Goodrich tires on it, rally wheels, all chrome is good, I pictured the rear wheel lips they have a little bit of surface rust trying to come through, bumpers are straight, all key lock cylinders work properly, everything in this vehicle seems to function as it should. The interior is in good shape, the seats appear to be out of a Mopar. All in all this is going to make someone a great rig with very little work to do.
