The car for sale is a 1955 Imperial 4-door. The car was donated to The Citadel Foundation and is being sold to raise money for scholarships at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina.- The car has a 330 Chrysler Hemi, that has just been freshly rebuilt about 100 miles ago. I have driven the car and it runs great.- Transmission is stock and has had a major service, but not rebuilt because it was in very good shape.- Rust free, with a respray that is not an exact match for the original color as you can see in the pictures, but shows well.- Chrome and trim are complete and most are in excellent condition. The exception is the front bumper that has a damaged bumperette and it needs to be rechromed. Famous Gun-Sight tail lights.- Interior is stock with the exception of the front seat bottom. Some damage to the front seat back on driver's side. I have researched the appohlstery and the original fabics are still available to repair the seat covers. New carpet. - The electrical system has been upgraded to an 8-volt system- Everything works except the radio and the switch for the driver's side rear window at the driver's position. The electric window works from the back seat.- A few other minor dings and a scratched glass in the passenger's door window.- A more complete set of pictures is available on request The car is an excellent driver as-is, or is a great candidate for a complete restoration due to the car being complete and rust-free. That is what I know about the car. I want to emphasize again that all of the money generated by the sale of the car is going directly to scholarships for cadets at The Citadel in Charleston, SC.
