This is a 1969 Yenko Camaro tribute 427ci in Hugger Orange 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, 427ci, Yenko Tribute, 4 speed, 12 bolt posi rear. This Camaro has been in this collectors possession since April of 2006 when he purchased it at Barrett Jackson in West Palm Beach, Florida. Yenko General info: Don Yenko sold approx. 201 1969 Yenko Super Camaros in 1969 via Yenko Chevrolet and his national Network of Dealers. These special Camaros were (generally) available in 6 Colors. Rally Green Fathom Green Olympic Gold Hugger Orange Daytona Yellow Lemans Blue All had standard black interiors Most had a Muncie M21 close ratio 4 speed and some had the Turbo 400 automatic trans. All had the legendary 427ci L72 COPO 9561 engine as well as COPO 9737 sports car conversion option. All had a special ’BE’ coded 12 bolt posi with 4.10 gears Other options were also available. It features: Correct # 3963512 1969 date coded 427ci block and heads Correct date coded intake manifold, water pump, and exhaust manifold A real M-21, 4 speed Muncie Close Ratio manual transmission with a Hurst shifter A 12 bolt 4.10 posi rear end (changed to a 3.50 for better street driving) The bottom of this Camaro, under the hood and the trunk are as solid as the exterior!
