Vehicle Detail
Hi everyone, I am selling my beautiful 1998 Land Rover Discovery LE 7 Seater in Chawton White that has been serviced and has awesome miles for the year. THIS is the Rover you have been waiting for! Engine and Drivetrain -Brand new head gasket job! This was done as preventive maintenance since it was getting into the range in which all Rover typical start to see issues. New head gaskets, decked and surfaced heads, head bolts and upper engine gaskets - ready to go another 110,000 miles++!!! -Cooling system works great. Clean radiator, new expansion tank cap and good water pump. Needle never gets above half way. In fact, it stays at 8 o'clock. -Engine runs great, plenty of power, smooth: its all there! -New fluids from the head gasket job. -Shifts nice, low range and diff locks are smooth and work perfectly. -Newer brake pads with tons of life in them. Interior -No tears in the seats, no cracks in the panels, no broken center console, no issues!!! -Brand new headliner, no sags! And no leaks from the sunroofs either! -3rd row A/C and fantastic shape jump seats! -Power seats work great! -No ink bleed in the rear view mirror -Power mirrors work great! -Great shape OEM cargo mat in the rear. -Radio works great! Exterior -Fantastic shape exterior in beautiful Chawton White! 9/10 paint and panels. (Check out the side shots below!) -Spare is another Deep Dish alloy wheel, not a steelie. Other -For CA residents, good registration, no backed fees, title in hand - good to go! I hate to see her go, but I'm thinning the herd. It is a treat to drive, smooth and comfy and capable. It's not my off road truck and I have never taken it off roading, and it has not been in the past to my knowledge (its been a Beverly Hills coffee-getter mostly its whole life and led a nice easy cared for life), but I saw a nice little dirt mound on the way back from taking some pictures and of course decided the obligatory picture of the Rover in its element was needed. Feel free to ask ANY questions and happy bidding! On Aug-04-13 at 12:07:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Also, good news for you bidders! Truck had passed smog with flying colors last time, so no issues there. I heard a little rattle from one of the cats the other day which doesnt currently affect its ability to burn off the excess smog, but rather than have a rattle that will only continue to get worse, the truck now has TWO BRAND NEW and installed cats. Another 100k++ miles to be had on your catalytic convertors now!!
