'68 Chrysler Newport with a rather unusual combination of a 383 and a 3-on-the-tree. Previous owner began the rat rod transformation including shaving the door handles. I don't know too much about the car, but I can say that it seems very mechanically sound. It idles nicely, doesn't run hot, stops and steers like it's supposed to. The clutch feels good and it goes through the gears nicely. No obvious gross leakage, the lights, horn and wipers work, and other than the cracked dash windshield I would think it would pass a safety inspection. Some of the door panels and dash and various trim pieces are off the car, but they seem to be in the trunk. Frame is surprisingly solid, as the floors appear to be as well. Please bear in mind that I haven't actually used the car on a daily basis, I've just driven it up and down the road around my property, so I welcome you to come inspect the car in person. Car has a clear NJ title. As you can see, the previous owner filled out his name in the buyer's area by mistake. While this should not ultimately be a problem for you, I feel the need to mention it in the interest of full disclosure. Also, the left rear tire has a slow leak that will tend to go down over a week or so .
