After a long conversation with my pregnant wife its time for one baby to go and another to arrive. We had planned on restoring this one as we bought it from the original owners. It has the original bahama blue paint and the original interior. Wrapped in brand new Cokers all the way around, had the brakes completely gone thru along with the motor, Bosch coil, plugs, wires, shocks, electrical upgraded to 12 volt, all done by D&A motors in Pinellas Park Fl. who has been in biz for 25 years specializing in VW's. This is a daily driver right now but we are still restoring our 1970 Westy which I have included a picture of along with a pic of my wife so we don't sound like "that guy" who just flips cars, we simply love this car but the time has come, again, to finish the Westy first!This is seriously a heart breaker for me but I know I'll find another one some day. I have tried to show the rust as best as best as possible. It does have some typical rust by the battery tray as well. Please notice the scratches on the doors as well. This one is meant to be restored, new paint, chrome the bumpers put a new interior in it and you're ready or just drive it as it is for awhile. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
