1949 Ford F-1 Pickup Truck. This truck is actually a Barn Find. I was told that it sat for over 30 years. It took a little to get it going, but it starts and runs. I changed the Spark Plugs, Points, Rotor and Condensor. I also replaced the Fuel Pump and rebuilt the Carburetor to get her running. I replaced the entire Brake System including Master Cylinder, Wheel Cylinders, Lines, Hoses and Hardware. Now it stops! I had the Generator rebuilt and upgraded to 12 Volts. The Truck also has a new 12 Volt Starter and 12 Volt Battery and 12 Volt Halogen Headlights. I have not been driving this truck on the road. It will still take a little tinkering, before I would consider it road worthy. The Body is pretty solid, but there is some rust. I tried to show it all in the pictures. The Frame is very solid. The Interior is Black. The seat is in good condition, but has a cover on it that makes it look better and matches the carpet on the floor. Most of the Glass is cracked. I have ordered replacement glass for the back and side windows. I should have it and have it installed before the end of the auction. The Wheels and Tires with period correct Baby Moon Hub Caps and Bias-Ply White Wall Tires. The Truck is Green and appears to have always been Green. The Patina is great and gives the truck a vintage shop-worn look everyone is looking for. Some of the sheet metal had to be replaced and the color and patina was copied. It isn't a perfect match, but looks good. The Tail Gate has some rust in it and is held on by bolts. The original chains are not with the truck. There is a sheet of plywood in the bed floor. The original wood is not in the truck. The Running Boards have rust in them and have some sheet metal covers bolted in place over them. These were on the truck when I got it.
