Vehicle Detail

Very nice, clean, solid and strong running car. First year of Gen 3 Camaro with a some what rare factory 4 speed manual transmission and 'T' tops. I bought the car from a person I knew who originally bought the car in Texas, drove it 2 years and put about 74k on it, brought it back to Michigan and sold it to me about 29 years ago. It's been stored in an atmosphere controlled environment most of its life and never been driven in the winter. Everything is pretty much in like new condition. Original 305 was replaced with a large small block engine that made 400HP @ 5,600 RPM's on dyno built by renowned engine and chassis builder George Foltz running on 92 octane and all GM parts. Motor was built for heavy NOS but never installed, engine is about 20yrs. old but not even broke in yet. Probably less than 300 miles on it. (George had his own shop and built many motors for greats like Mario Andretty , also worked many years in a special department at GM heading projects like the actual 1982 Z 28 pace car that actually was the real pace car at the Indy 500 not one if the many Pace car sticker kits from GM). It has programmable High Output GM ignition, H.P. shatter proof clutch, 1 7/8" primary porcelain coated competition Hooker headers with true dual 3" exhaust all the way back and 'H' ed behind headers. Frame was tied/welded by MPR and launches straight. My friends at MPR built the prototypes of all three new drag pack cars for others like Roush to reproduce. Paint still looks real nice, it was repainted about 20 years ago by the people from DuPont at a local paint shop. Interior looks outstanding. Car also has an aluminum radiator, fuel regulator, and the list goes on and on. The A.C. has been disconnected for performance. I have the original 15" aluminum wheels, a car cover, and tons of other items that go along with the car. I do have a nice set of 2012 polished Z 28 20" wheels that I can sell separately but not part of this auction, they would look great on it. Please ask any questions by Thursday. I will be out of town this weekend. Thanks for looking!
